Bamboo, the Guest House is situated in the enchanting coastal town of Knysna on the Western Cape’s world acclaimed Garden Route. We offer affordable Knysna accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis to all travelers, be they holidaymakers, business folk, honeymooners, families or tour groups. Our 14 en suite rooms are individually styled and beautifully decorated with a distinct African touch. Wooden walkways meander through our unique gardens – a verdant blend of the Orient, the Temperate Zones and our own Knysna forests. Birdlife is prolific and patience will usually be rewarded with some great sightings, including the stunning Knysna Loerie.

In summer sumptuous breakfasts are served daily on our expansive dining deck and in winter in our breakfast room with a roaring log fire. A cold buffet serving of homemade muffins and muesli together with fresh fruit salad and yoghurt is followed by hot dishes to order, including a range of omelettes and pancakes, Eggs Benedict, French toast and a full English breakfast. Lunch and evening meals are available by prior arrangement – a popular night time choice being a traditional braai or barbecue.
